Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress recognized as Central Florida's Best Places to Work
Two Hyatt Resorts and Hotels in Orlando were recognized by the Orlando Business Journal as Central Florida’s top places to work -- Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport and Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress.
Ranked in the “giant category,” each hotel’s performance score was determined by Omaha, Neb.-based Quantum Workplace based on results from an employee engagement survey. To qualify for the giant company category, firms must have more than 250 local employees in Central Florida. Quantum evaluates and scores participating companies in areas ranging from team effectiveness to manager effectiveness, retention risks, alignment with company goals and more. This year, 8,331 workers participated in OBJ’s competition, responding to an anonymous online employee engagement survey with 37 questions on topics such as teamwork, job satisfaction and benefits.
“Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress is proud to be recognized for our commitment to our employees and our authentic hospitality,” says Area Vice President and Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress General Manager Pat Engfer. “Our employees reflect that pride in the outstanding service they deliver to our guests. Their dedication to our brand and our guests deserves this prestigious honor.”
Associate perks at Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress include basic computer classes offered during work hours for ongoing skill development, complimentary use of StayFit® gym, surprise delivery of ice cream and a trail mix bar to work areas and the annual family picnic at the signature lagoon pool.
